Efendy means gentleman in old Turkish, but everyone is welcome here. Located on the corner of Darling and Elliott Streets, in a historic sandstone Victorian mansion, Efendy is a modern Turkish restaurant, complete with a basement bar, run by Istanbul-born owner and chef Somer Sivrioglu. The popular restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering authentic Turkish delicacies, using local and sustainable produce, prepared meze style for sharing.
