  I went for a ride on the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel Private Cabin. The trip was very smooth and I had a good view of Melbourne. Unfortunately, in architectural terms Melbourne is a very boring city, there's not much to see, you spend a long time seeing nothing much. I've been on the London Wheel, which was good, because there a lots of well-known buildings to see.

  New has a very nice view of Docklands and City. it runs very slowly so you have a lot of time to take beautiful photos of Melbourne City and Docklands a spectacular view good location

  My sister was lucky to win tickets for the Rich Indulgence cabin for 8 people (Valued at $280.00). We booked for 11.30 am and arrived 15 mins prior as per the booking. We order our drinks and then waited until midday before boarding. While this was not a major issue for our group as we had no other pressing plans. We were escorted onto the capsule which was filled with bean bags and foot stools as well as a centre bench.The cabins are air conditioned so we were all cozy during the ride. We had a lovely clear day which made it even more special but the commentary needs to be updated as some information was incorrect. The prize included a 3 Tiered Chocolate Tower, a drink and one rotation. The Tier had only 4 Chocolate coated strawberries and 2 Chocolate Mustache's as well as Macarons and a variety of chocolates. While the presentation was nice the fact that there were 8 people and not and equal number of food made it a little awkward. We also thought that due to the excitement of this prize two rotations would be more appropriate to this offer. While we all enjoyed the experience (maybe due to the fact we didn't pay) and found it quirky and fun the for the price versus value it is lacking, would have been disappointed if we had paid for the indulgence. Maybe introducing Melbourne Star Dining like they have in Singapore could also be another option.

  I am afraid of heights so was seated the whole time unlike my teenagers right at the glass 😲 however...... Wow we all loved this, to see from a birds eye view of Melbournes beautiful city and surrounds ❤
